{ About Dan }

Dan HannibalMy roles have included Lead Designer for a consumer products company, Creative Director for an online specialty magazine, and Graphic Designer for a large governmental agency that engages directly with the public. In addition, I operate a successful freelance design business with a long list of satisfied clients. Sample accomplishments include:

  • Rebuilding a company websites, designing a new infrastructure utilizing CMS that allow on-the-fly content changes and updates to company profiles by minimally trained administrative staff.
  • Creating new designs and user interfaces for a revitalized company website to align more closely with brand standards and provide a competitive edge, analyzing daily lead reports and tweaking website design and user interactivity to increase lead generation.
  • Quadrupling website traffic from 125,000 unique users per month to more than 500,000, transforming a blog into a significant Bay Area brand
  • Redesign websites and user interfaces based on analyzing research, including what features users clicked on each month and where they left the site, then reorganizing content, improving ease of accessibility, and using content to drive readers to sponsored ads.

As these highlights demonstrate, I am a full-service designer who proactively tackles business issues along with diverse design issues.
